"Legalizing Steroids"

With emergence of online supply and more and more people using them, I am keen to hear people's views on whether they may become legalized.http://thinksteroids.com/news/2008/11/10/barack-obama-will-legalize-anabolic-steroids/

No, he won't. More testosterone means more raw male sexuality, which is not what your western elite is aiming for at the moment.

I think some of the seeds to it eventually happening have been laid. Many banned substances could be legalised. Obama realizes many of his security staff are probably using, and also being a fitness buff himself probably has a greater awareness of the fact it is not necessarily the anti social drug it is often portrayed as. Not to mention the wider availability over the net and doctors prescribing it as hormone therapy for males with lower test counts. Within the next decade, I can see it being a viable solution for older guys.

its the wave of the future.....I've never taken any, but when I eventually turn 40+ I would like to add some testosterone to my body.

This govt will probably ban it forever, making a multi billion dollar black market just like with marijuana...

Isn't it already legal with a prescription? We've all seen the ads for the underarm cream on TV. Even if it is only supposed to be prescribed if a dr diagnoses you with low T, I assume plenty of doctors will write a prescription if you are 30+, just like it isn't hard to get a prescription for marijuana in CA.

I don't think it will be ever legalized due to the fact it makes people feel good, trust me nothing makes you feel more like a man with some extra test in your body. HGH is the next level stuff but pricey for most people, the stuff actually reverses the aging process.

I am in my 40's and cannot understand why people younger than me take viagra/ciallis.

wont be legalised...giving young people access to these drugs with the associated health risks is a recipe for disaster. the government can't be seen to be doing this.

not to mention the message it sends for people that want to cheat in sport.

wont happen.

Who says ? If anything, it increases the risk of cancer.

Is there actual proof of that ? Or you going off media bias ?

Think about what you just said. Naturally occurring hormones that your body produces on its own and you think it increases risk of cancer ?

Now that 1 in 3 people die of cancer in North America and almost none of them are on TEST or HGH wouldn't it make sense that a lack of the 2 in males might explain the high death rate of cancer. Or at the very least shown not to cause cancer.

Now I am sure some heavily androgenic steroids, not testosterone can cause cancer or at the very least kill your liver, but straight HGH or TEST I don't think does. Besides older men are looking to replace the levels they once had around the 18-30 mark. I don't think it would be wise to take something in the range 2 or 3 times what the body was once capable of producing.
