Ron Wood's notch count must be sky high. For goodness sake, let the man enjoy marriage & his younger bride in peace.

I knew before even clicking this thread there would be '2/10 too old would not bang' people in here.
It is the same as that Courtney Stodden/Guy from the XFiles thread where people were saying, "She's going to look shit at 40," when the guy will be nearly 80.
Ron Wood has ten times the notch count of all of RVF put together, and the fact that he isn't dead already is a miracle of biology. I imagine he might genuinely like the woman, yet he still gets analyzed through the lens of a regular guy trying to up his notch count with bar-girls.
I swear this forum is weird sometimes.

I'm just saying he's a 65 year old guy who has a ton of wear and tear on him (looks wise). And if he wasn't a mega famous rocker--this would be remarkable. I think he's cool as shit but if he was an accountant from some small town in England--this probably wouldn't happen. Congrats to him.

i dont think anyone was overly critical of this guy but more just a a valid good natured questioning of how a jaded world famous rocker first off ties the knot and secondly with a woman in her mid 30´s. im no world famous rocker just a average guy who spent 6mths in SEA and after seeing the options available to (old)men i doubt id ever marry especially to a 34 yr old no matter no matter how old i was.

Is it possible that when you reach a certain age and want to settle down that the youngest possible option isn't necessarily the most desirable option? 30 years your junior is always pretty good in my book.

Maybe I should clarify my comment. I wasn't critical of his marriage at all. I could care less what age of a woman he wants to marry. Hell, if she were older, I would care less. I was just saying that that the fact that she is 34, alone, should not be considered a positive variable, because at his status/money, a woman that age shouldn't be hard to get IMHO

At this stage in his life, youth and hotness is probably not what he wants in a WIFE. Now he's probably run through his share of twenty-something groupies, but for a wife, he was looking for something different. And yeah, she's still 30 years his junior appears to be pretty enough. I'm good with his choice here...
