We lost a good one yesterday.

Andy Irons, a legendary Hawaiian waterman passed.

Whenever I read this talk about "alpha" males, I think of guys like Andy.

Before he settled down, Andy had game I could only hope to have.

He lived his life with 100% balls.

Everyone on this forum would have loved kicking it with Andy, in or out of the water.

There's different stories out there but he had dengue fever I know that.

Doesn't matter though really, he was solid. He gave his little bro the winning wave when he won the Eddie Aikau a few years back.

His girl is 7 or 8 months pregnant. She is a solid 10, no joke. Landing her required perfect top notch game, that few men have. Think Laird Hamilton, he's also one of the guys I think of when folks talk about alpha males.
