Set Your Metabolism on Fire

I thought I'd share with everyone a free e-book about eating habits, specifically in relation to working out.

This book written by Dr Clay Hyght who I found through his articles over at T-Nation. I really respect his work, so once I found out he was giving out a free e-book I jumped at it.

If you go onto his website at http://www.drclay.com/ on the right hand side fill in your name and email, and that's it, you get the ebook.

He doesn't send spam or anything like that, so it's all good.

He stresses the need for eating at the right time and the quality of carbs you get, e.g. starchy carbs. Provides sample meal days ranging from low, medium to high carb days and discusses the benefits of them.

He gave me some good pointers that I've started implementing already. For instance now for much of my veg, I buy it frozen, leave it in a cup to thaw with some balsamic vinegar, by the time I'm home it's ready to eat with my meal. Or left overnight I put it in my lunch, saves time cooking/defrosting and is quite cheap instead of buying veg separately all the time.

He has some good recipes for gym-minded guys, like protein pancakes, turkey meatloaf and others. Then there is a short question and answer session at the end. It's over 100 pages of stuff.

Even if your knowledge on nutrition is good, I'd still recommend it, check it out!

Remember the old saying: if you are not paying for the product, you ARE the product.

And because it's an old saying that makes it a good one?
