Weekend in Vegas

I just got back from a weekend in Las Vegas. It has been two years since I was there last.

To start off I was there with a girl. She payed flights and hotel, so what could I say. Not the way I like to roll in Vegas, and I would never suggest others to go there with a woman. Having said that, she treated me like a king and we had as good of time as possible.

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan, which was not quite opened last time I was there. We really never had to leave the hotel, nor was I in any way encouraged to. The shopping there (also in City Centre Aria) is good, the food decent, and the talent stunning.

I locked down the bartenders at both Bond and Vesper (great bartenders) on the first night. This is a must in this town. After a few late evening tapas and dim sum at China Poblano we posted up at Chandelier and after some recon work found the prize spot and stuck around here all night. The bartenders here lack creativity and care (females mostly) but try to make up for it in strength of drink and sex appeal. My Manhattans were full to the brim. I was approached no less than a dozen times, twice by what I am sure were escorts. A few girls obviously thought I was loaded due to my impeccable style.

My girl allowed all this to happen with a smile and played the confident arm piece very well. I was impressed, and rewarded her with an extra hard session when we returned to the room.

Saturday evening we went to the Venetian and to Bouchon. I have always found food in Vegas to be a bit tough. Sure, some of the best food in USA is there, but the prices often dont warrant the quality. But I was impressed with Bouchon, although the dishes were a bit salty and the portions a little large for French food. Portion size is always a problem for me in the US, so I often only eat a nibble of sushi, tapas or oysters before a night out. But for a meal just under $300 it was good. I would recommend.

We hit up the Wynn for some drinks at Parasol. This was a no club weekend, I was more concerned with exploring some lounges this time around. The Wynn was relatively quiet compared as the NY clientele is missing for obvious reasons. Again, the Parasol was a great environment with interesting people, but the bar tending was weak. No passion at all, and one guy even tried to refill my Manhatten by pouring the shaker into my same glass. After that we bolted.

The girl I was with has a thing for Mandarin Oriental Hotels so we hit up the Mandarin Bar on the 23rd floor. This is the place to take romantically inclined women. Its beautiful, classy and a great view.

After that it was over to Vesper and then Bond for a finish. I was immediately latched onto by a pair of girls from Chicago who were all over me. I was on point, already had the bartender on lock and secured us the best spot in the bar. I talked with the girl I was with and I was given the greenlight for a foursome. The blonde was in right away, and her friend was in with a bit of pushing from the blonde. My girl gets up to go to the toilet as we sip the very last of our drinks. The brunette turns to me and tells me that she has a boyfriend and therefore cant fuck me but will still partake in the fun. She tells me that she thinks my girl would lick a good pussy, as the blonde was not at all into giving. I know that my girl only accepts women playing with her, and does not lick pussy. I especially dont either in these types of situations. Now the blonde is down for just a good old hard fuck, but I can feel the whole thing starting to slip through my fingers. I remain upbeat and deflect the detailed questions coming from the brunette and keep the vibe sexy. I guide the blondes hand to the condom pocket of my suit and she finds the Magnums, rubs my dick and goes wild with excitement. My girl returns and the brunette starts to hash out details with my girl, and I witness the sexuality start to drain out of those two before I can rescue the situation. The fun is gone from my girl and the brunette moves into cockblocking mode. I play it off like its no big deal, try to keep the vibe light and wait for some green lights to start amping up the sex again. No dice, now the blonde is pissed at her friend as she still really wants to play. Now the brunette gets pissed and tells her to stop this as she has a fiancee back in Chicago. Now my girl is shaking her head and we just laugh to ourselves over their bullshit drama. We backturn them and get another drink and the bartender gives me a look of condolences as he sees that type of thing happen all the time.

For a recap I can say the the talent in the Cosmopolitan during the night is among the best I have ever seen, anywhere. The women are all in dresses and heels, and are out for a good time. Finding girls in pairs was not too hard either, but "girls weekend" vibes were still the overwhelming majority. But at least the bowling ball shaped, t shirt jorts and flip flop crowd was absent. A dolo player or a team could do some serious damage here no doubt. The Cosmo has given Vegas a nudge in a good direction. And as a designer as well, the hotel ticks all my high aesthetic requirements.

Damn man, I just got back from Vegas as well. Was there for the World Series of Fighting. Fisto and I missed each other by a day. I was there with a large group anyway, which included wives and pregnant chicks, so not much of a gaming weekend for me, especially since my friend lost his fight. Next time I guess I will have to post in the Meetup forum and see who is going to be around.

Cosmo is tight. I had a suite there last time overlooking Bellagio fountains. Picked up girls there constantly, banged on the first night. Solid spot.

Was this the Parasol Up or the Parasol Down? I was in what I believe was the Parasol Up a few weeks back. It seemed like a good place, but I agree that the bartending was week. They kind of stepped it up a bit by round three after they started to realize that I am a pretty good tipper. I was extremely nervous when I was there because I was waiting for the outcome of the fight and I had a lot of money on Martinez.

Parasol Up. Down was dead, and the endless parade of gawkers going down the escalator and up the other side hurt the image and vibe. People just sort of stood around in front of the window trying to make up their mind to go Lakeside or the other spot (left hand side).

I dont doubt it. I feel I could have ran 2/2 in Vegas (Cosmo) if I was not rolling with talent already. Unfortunately I will never know.

Nice. Yeah it was outrageous. My buddy got up before me each day and could go pull at the bar within minutes even early in the day. One morning he had a random girl come up and wake me up. Chick comes in my room "time to wake up...let's go to the pool!". I'm like am I in heaven?

Sounds like rolling with a team mate worked out. I was moving more toward running dolo next time, but waking up like you did would easily sway me. Its all about the right partnership.

I take it you were rolling two down did having this work in your benefit in any way? Also were there 2bdrm suites or did you guys do the "who picks up gets the room" thing with the other guy on the sofa?

He's a great wingman. He will get into deep conversation with ladies very quickly and it usually hooks them and makes them comfortable and willing to relocate quickly. We were only there three nights, night one I got the bang and the bedroom, night two we passed out fucked up after clubbing it, and night three we stayed up all night with three Iranian girls from LA until our flight left so no sleeping. That's before I was into game so we weren't on a mission like we should have been, but we still managed to get girls to hang with us wherever we went.

I wouldn't be afraid to run Vegas dolo, but you need to keep the energy level high in that city. The two of us fed off each others energy and it worked out.

^ Triple! post. WTF my work computer is going crazy. My bad.

I was wondering about that. Due to the fact that the hotel itself draws so much more talent then the bars I would want to capitalize on this. I never approached a any women who were just wondering around, but I could imagine the perceived energy I would need would have to be higher.

In the lounges I found I could still do very well without having to play the "high energy" guy. Not my strongest point for sure, so many of the 21 years old girls wobbling around in their heels would be out. Same with any of the staggette parties (ridiculous wearing a sash and tiara in public like that) for obvious reasons.

But the 25-35 crowd....... game on.

Going for Dolo in Las Vegas is great.

One thing I do in Las Vegas is actually take my energy level down a little, and go with a Smoother, more Butter vibe.

It's a losing Game to "out-energy" people there. Especially if you are in for the long haul.

Take it down a notch, spark up a smoke, post and chop.

Bouchon is quite possibly my favorite restaurant in LV.

The Beverly Hills location is great as well.

How is Vegas during the week? Sun-wed. I'm thinking about making a trip there next month. Will it suck?

True words. Even "taking the smoother" vibe still wears a man out. Letting the bowtie down at 6am every morning can still add up even if "taking it easy".

The last two times I have been there, this angle has played out exceptional for me. Although I was tempted to take the bartenders offer of getting me into Marquis, I stayed solid on my plan and I am glad I did.

The terrace atmosphere and the level of style has to be commended as well. Also, I seen some cats ducking into the kitchen, never to return. Whats the scoop?

From what I hear midweek is a tighter party based around some key spots. I suggest dropping Fisto a PM or search his Vegas thread, his information is legit as well as G.

Damn you are lucky! I heard tickets to that were fairly cheap???

That Rumble knockout on Linderman was fucking nasty!

What were your thoughts on the WSOF prodcution at the event compared to a Zuffa event?

Edit: and who was your friend?

Tickets were cheap, $20 to $100. We got ours for free, about 15-20 rows from the cage. Production was really good. Haven't been to a UFC live, but probably similar. Rather not say who my friend was because it gives me away, but he was on the main card. Going back to Bangkok soon, but can't wait to go back to Vegas and watch him fight again.

I forgot to mention this tailor shop.

They have a good number of high quality, off the rack ready for the tailor jackets and suits. Really fine fabrics from Zegna and others. Some really beautiful english cut suits as well.

They create most of their own patterns right there. Of course bespoke is where they kill it.

I liked the vibe. At first it was hard to see what exactly they were trying to do. But the top notch sales staff quickly set me to school. There is a certain amount of "cashing in" on Boardwalk Empire, but to me that is fine. Vegas needs some more class.

I'm currently in Vegas right now, and fully agree with everything in this thread. I'm subletting an apartment at Veer for a month, which is a residential complex inside of City Center. I can see the lights from Marquee from my window, and because City Center has four other hotels every chick I bring back just assumes it's a hotel suite.

The chandelier bar at Cosmo may be the easiest place in the world to pick up. I'm there several nights a week and haven't got resistance when pulling once. As stated earlier in the thread, it's mainly 30-35 year olds, but definitely good looking ones. Marquee on Tuesdays is off the hook, and that's where you'll find the under 25 year olds at Cosmo.

I am thinking of getting one of my boys outta town for a month. He is having a run of bad luck and needs a break like only Vegas could give.

Plus he doesn't believe me about the Cosmo and the talent. I would love to prove him wrong.

Marquees on Tuesday? Last time, I went it was Marquee Mondays.

Sunday industry night is Vanity at Hard-Rock.

Whats the breakdown on weekdays? I only know Thursday- Monday.

Cosmo bars+lobby game is where the juice is. I kill it every time I'm in town there. No need to really go up to Marquee. Lots of hot classy women in the lobby walking, gambling, having a drink at the bar. Little to no competition, however I did witness a pua bootcamp one time there.

Yes, after midnight there are many escorts hanging out in pairs, and more escorts than regular girls. You have been warned.

Cosmo is a goldmine for me, and I haven't had any problem with hookers. I'm young-looking so they don't waste their time with me.

Hotel prices are down for the next few months. I'm going back to Vegas for 4 nights later this month, and I got Aria for $129 a night.

I'm back in LA now, and the majority of girls I'm seeing/texting out here are ones I met at Cosmo. Love that place.
