I agree. No point in attacking her. It's the voters. I'm guessing there was tremendous pressure to choose a black woman due to the 50 year civil rights anniversary. I just don't know why they choose this particular black woman.

What was the voting mechanism? Maybe it was some drawn out procedure or had low turnouts, ensuring only fattie defenders voted.

Has to be a race element. We'd need to know more about the nomination process, who else was running, etc. It's just incredible to believe that there were simply no attractive black girls running for this thing and that this was the best of the bunch.
