Date Lab: woman walks out on the date

The guy seems upfront while the woman seems combative (both are older). Even though it's clear she wasn't into it from the start, she insinuates that he was a pedophile or something of the sort as her reason for leaving, when it all likelihood she has serious issues.

Quote:Quote:

To avoid awkwardness and lengthy explanations, I decided to leave. The interaction was becoming painful, and it was time to go. [There was] just absolutely no compatability, and I didn’t want to stick it out for the duration. I made a quiet exit. I’d rather not say what in particular prompted me.

To avoid awkwardness she escapes from the date with a lie that she's going to the bathroom. Not awkward at all!

I found her picture:

Hilarious that a 59 year old woman can judge a man so harshly from the initial handshake.

I have never had a good experience with girls who are into horses. They are asocial freaks!

She's basically a 60-year old version of all those ridiculous chicks on the online hamster thread. I guess they never grow out of it.

I'm guessing the horses are the only thing other living creatures to give this woman an orgasm in the last 20 years.

This hag is a flat-out snob. An uptight bitch. Instead of a crazy cat lady, you can just substitute horses. He shouldn't feel bad about this one at all. It just drives home the point that women are incredibly self-centered, and in this case, classless. Okay...you didn't click, but her unwillingness to put in any effort to be polite and simply enjoy a meal with a decent guy says everything about her. She probably went to the stables to stroke off a horse after the date.

Eva: Fairly tall, likes animals and kids, not too possessive, treats people (especially waiters, salespeople, etc.) with respect and kindness, not overweight (doesn’t have to be buff), not a hunter, single, somewhat wordly and definitely not religious
This pretty much says it all.

And keep in mind this is an exceptionally abbreviated version of her checklist that she just rattled off the top of her head. She kept finding faults with him throughout the date, as well. "He doesn't understand dressage. He didn't know about the 47 percent comment, blah blah..."

And what exactly is she bringing to the table? Youth? Nope. Looks? Nope. Conversation? Doesn't seem like it. Class? Not from a woman who walks out on her date without saying a word.

This woman's hamster must be the size of a grizzly bear.

While on the one hand she is a bitch, look at him. He looks sickly, pale, and with that beer belly, plus shrugging his shoulders which suggests he has loss quite a bit of muscle mass in his traps.

I am only four years away from his age and I don't -- and won't -- ever look like that.

But before I head down to my home gym to lift heavy, I will say this about her...or rather let her say this about herself.

On my 40-something thread, posters from time to time say that women in that age range are full of delusional bat-shit crazy entitlement syndrome.

Well, this just in -- age don't matter. Whether they are 18 or 80, the hamster gets lots and lots of exercise over the lifetime.

Gents, the hamster has marathon endurance. They will be wrinkled and moving with a walker, and they will still want Prince Charming.

Between each date, she tries to tell herself that there are many “real” men out there; she’s just not been lucky. "

Fair enough, but I bet he's closer to typical for men of that age in this country. She admitted this was her first blind date, yet she had outsized expectations. And it really doesn't excuse her behavior, ditching on the date the way she did. He may not have been her physical ideal, but in all the date labs, the chicks maintained a level of politeness and attempted to enjoy the company of the other person. You're right though - I'm 49, and I've noticed that the hamster NEVER tires. I see the same behavior in women in my age range as I saw in them when I was younger.

You got to give it to the guy for laughing it off and keeping a positive attitude about the whole thing, I know I would have been pretty pissed and had some harsh words for that cunt. I will agree that the guy isn't very attractive, but most people aren't at his age, either way she should have at least been polite, and let him know she was leaving, instead of saying she was going to the bathroom and then bailing. I can't believe anyone actually could support her, some commenters on the WPO are trying to say that the guy had to have been a creep, and said something to make her uncomfortable, how about she's just a stupid bitch without a shred of decency.

You're lucky. The young third-generation feminists today are actually not very dogmatic or bitter. It's the older second-generation feminists who are really nasty man-haters. They're a smaller proportion of their generation, but they are far worse in their man-hating. This kind of rude behavior towards men is normal for such a 59-year old woman.

The "b" word that comes to mind for me is little more archaic: "battle-axe". Rusty, covered in scratches, and not something you'd want to let anywhere near your children.

Dude seems like a nice guy. He's got a good nature and a good sense of humor; I bet he'd be a ton of fun to hang out with even if he's like 30 years older than I am. It's a shame he got hooked up with a pointy old war relic.

Agreed, she was a pure cunt for leaving him and never having the common courtesy to either tell him she was leaving or -- better still -- staying around for the date for its entirety.

It's further evidence, if any were needed, that many women think they are above basic decency, above doing what is socially appropriate. The action was narcissistic, haughty, and very selfish. Face the guy at least -- tell him at that point this is not going to work out, and then leave. Show some fucking courage.

That's right, she's a coward. It's shameful and uncivilized behavior.

At the end, DateLab is begging for men to sign up. I can't blame guys for not wanting to do it considering the awful attitudes of most of the women.

True, I went to grad school with bitches who were about her age, they almost got me thrown out for confronting their man-hatred.

Now, they've got about half the slots in high-paid school ( law, medicine) except for the ones that women basically aren't smart enough to do ( engineering, computer science). They dominate mental health because the coursework is not as do-or-die. ( I was a computer science student at one point, and programs either work or they don't there's no hamster allowance) .

Imagine a woman meets a high-quality guy on DateLab. She can either:

a) Put herself out there by saying he's cool and she wants to see him again.
b) Hint or state that he's not good enough, thus implying that she is of very high status herself.

Given that this is publicized rather than just a private date, Option B probably will give her more of a buzz. She can get some great Facebook conversations out of it.

It's frightening to see that the hamster can live so long and still be so active in old age. Just... staggering. Those who think that the current sexual market catastrophe will resolve itself in 20 years are in for a big shock.

Needing to go on dates at 59 years old is an utter failure. Naturally, she should be looking after her grandkids and chastising her 80 year old husband for chatting up twenty year old girls when they go grocery shopping.
