We're cheering this man's actions, but let's face the facts: his life is now fucked. He's going to lose his job and won't get another one, even if he's in the right. He was a hero and for that he will be punished in a country where men are not supposed to defend themselves against women. He was going to lose no matter the outcome, whether his dignity or his job. Now the girl will get a settlement from the bus authority in the order of a couple hundred thousand dollars. She wins while men in this country continue to lose.

Most bus drivers in the US are unionized and I am sure policies are in place for handling belligerent riders. I hope the video will justify his actions. Hopefully the union's legal team is savvy enough to spare this guy his job or at least for him to avoid jail time.

Bus drivers seem to be some of the most unhappy people while at work. Anyone would have his or her hands full provoking them.

The crowd yells "you're going to jail now" BETWEEN this and the uppercut - the initial yells are not for him! She also threaten to beat up him and his family, if I can piece things correctly together. Then later, SHE is the one yelling "youre going to jail, bitch".
