I highly recommend Thailand for dental work.

Quality and professionalism is high, costs are low.

You can get your teeth done and a free holiday for the same price.

About how much should I expect to pay?

I second that. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed a few years back in Bangkok, cost me 10,000 baht in total.

I've had to get several damaged teeth removed and many more are quite damaged, I'm always thinking about one day going back to Argentina at some point to try to get some replacement Implants or if it was possible just reinforce the ones I still have...

Long story short, this thread is great!

Is it true that I'd you very had a tooth removed for a long time it would be difficult to put an implant in its place?

We move between light and shadow, mutually influencing and being influenced through shades of gray...

I want to do this myself. I hate my teeth and want to replace them with technology. Anyone have opinions on the 4 into 1 or whatever they call it where they replace your whole top or bottom?

I have no first-hand experiences, but I have come across many positive reviews on all-on-4 or all-on-6 dental implants

I'm sure some of you guys have done implants, how was wearing a flipper while you waited for the implants? How long did you have to wear it? That is my biggest concern, having to wear that thing for months or even a year, does it pretty much eliminate your dating life? I've heard they make you lisp, you cant eat comfortably, and they just generally aren't pleasant to wear. I can't imagine kissing with that thing, anyone have experience with all this?

I have to either have root canals done on both lateral incisor teeth or have them pulled and do implants or bridges.

The costs are outrageous where I'm at in the north east, I was quoted $2300 per root canal with crown or $4000 per bridge, I contacted multiple highly regarded clinics in Costa Rica and also Mexico and the total cost of implants is right around $1500 per tooth, so even with flights and hotels it works out to be cheaper. So right now I am leaning towards pulling the teeth here for cheap and starting the implant process next winter.

So what did you do while you waited for them to place the crowns? Go toothless or was there something other then a flipper they gave you?
