Oktoberfest!

After years of thinking about going to Oktoberfest, I am finally doing it this year. Who is going this year and does anyone need a wingman?
I'm hitting up Poland immediate before I hit Munich for Oktoberfest. I'll be in Munich from September 26 thru October 4.

having been to Octoberfest you may not want to spend a whole week there - take a side trip or two

Im going as well, 28th until 1st Oct. I really wouldn't expect too much in terms of banging as I have heard its about 85% dudes. I'm just gonna focus on drinking ludicrous amounts of beer. Still I'm sure its not impossible especially for a Roosher

Just roam around all day and night and hit on girls.Large part of them are down to go in under an hour and make out in less than a minute.Full of sluts, however I'd suggest focusing on tourists instead of locals, a lot of which seemed annoyed by the whole tourist influx? Also, I hope you guys have sorted out your accommodation, because the hostel dorm room beds run for 100-150€/night

A tip for accommodation is to try 9flats.com instead of airbnb (where people were massivey hiking their prices for Okotberfest). Its basically a German version of airbnb. We found a very central apartment for less than the freaken camp sites were charging for a tent way out in the sticks!!

Good idea that I wish I had heard of sooner! I already booked a place on airbnb, but can't help but feeling I'm being anal raped.

Ugh, I booked through airbnb and my host CANCELLED last week. I booked it in May so I wouldn't have a problem. Just had to pay a ridiculous amount per night to stay at a hostel during it. Arriving on the 3rd to the 8th.

I'm in Augsburg, so I'm down to take the train into Munich. Kudos to slubu for turning around the situation into his favor. Let me know.

I'm going the 2nd or 3rd, check it out in the middle of the week and see whats up, then maybe the next weekend too. I went for the 1st and last weekends last year and it was pretty good, didnt make reservations anywhere but the first weekend I went back to a campsite with an Australian girl and slept there, then the other weekend I slept in one of the beer tents after it closed then got kicked out when they opened.
Upgrayedd. Which he spells thusly, with two D's, as he says, "for a double dose of this pimping".
