Misconceptions about US game vs Intl Game

There is a perception out there that if you cannot meet a woman and be intimate with her in the US, you cannot meet a woman and be intimate with her anywhere: I think this assumption is false, based upon my experiences.

First off, I hear men say that if you are fat and bald, you have to go to another country to be with a woman. Well, I don't have this problem of being fat and bald. Actually, I am 37 and I'm in great shape...I get complimented by girls occasionally that I am handsome, etc. But the problem I have is that I seldom meet girls that leads to anything beyond just casual conversation, maybe a date or two. I find that American women are utterly boring and unfriendly...dating is like being in an interview. So my sex life has been lacking.

Recently, I went to Romania for a week and had the privilege of interacting with some of the most exuberant and friendly girls I've met in a long time. Once I got the hang of the place, the culture, language, etc., my confidence followed. Soon afterwards, I was approaching girls regularly...not all girls spoke English very well but the ones that did always seemed to enjoy the dialogue. It wasn't very long after being in country that I met my first romantic interest. How did I do it? By just being me. My approach was no different than in the US but in Romania I actually found better results.

So that got me thinking that there is something different about American women. In fact, in talking with Romanian women, they actually confirmed that there was...they had a perception of American women being aggressive, unfeminine, mean, and cold-hearted. Apparently, Romanian women relish their womanliness and do not want to be this way. Not that Romanian women are not bitchy or high-maintenance...it's just that they value different things than American women...they actually like to be women where American women do not, it seems.

For those of you thinking that opportunities to meet women elsewhere are a function of your ability to capitalize on them in America, I think that this is not true. Sure, you cannot be a socially inept person and think that your chances are better someplace else...you may have to work on that. But if you are a likeable character and enjoy the company of women and they seem to like your (perhaps only in a platonic way), you stand a better chance of meeting a woman elsewhere who understands the natural order of social interactions and doesn't pretend to dislike you because attraction is a sign of weakness. Ultimately, what I found in interacting with Romanian women was that if you liked a girl and she liked you, simply going and talking to her was all I needed to do and I was met with great receptivity...and that is how I think interactions with women should be. But sadly, in America that is not how it is. Anyway, those are my two cents.

I kind of disagree. I've found that whenever I travel to countries where the impression of America is high or the overall wages/salaries are lower, I meet tons of women who want to prove that they can be good long term partners by being easy going, non-bitchy, polite... I've found that very few of the American women I meet actually care about proving their potential as a partner, by contrast most seem to expect the man to show what he can do. In foreign countries by virtue of having traveled there, you have already shown that you are probably husband material so the chances of meeting a woman in another country is higher because they will come after you or at least be more receptive to you.

The point I will agree on is that being socially inept will work against you no matter where you are, especially if you plan to keep a woman around for more than one night!! If you are an unlikable guy then women, no matter where, tend to only stick around as long as they can get something.
