Brodiaga, this period of the year is pretty awful for chasing women here, relative to other months. Just like in Colombia, women mostly dedicate their time, during Christmas holidays, to family and friends.

As a gringo, you should be able to get a few girls out, on the weekdays, between Christmas and New Years. The only positive thing I can say about Ecuadorian girls, relative to Colombiananas, is that they are willing to drink more, specially in Quito. So you should not have a lot of difficulty pulling a one night stand.
If you can, try to say you are 29, as age differences are similar to the USA..... more so in Quito, than any other part of the country. Though for a gringo many will make exceptions.
Like in Bogota, you can find many English speaking girls on tinder, ok cupid or couchsurfing.

Brodiaga, the Sheraton area is the best area for daygame and a 10 min ride from the foch where the nightlife is. It is next to two shopping malls and a very popular park. Also the football stadium and a cinema are just next door. I live there as well if you wanna meet up.

Secondly, Quito is a great city for sightseeing, probably one of the best in the world. So many options for daytrips; volcanos, mindo, banos, ... For other travelling a bit further the coast is at about 5 hour drive, the amazon forest similar. Within the city there are some options like the old town, the teleferico, the panecilio and some parks.

Food is not spectacular but fairly cheap. If you like to eat healthy it is good though, so much tropical fruits, lots of healthy options of real food, no industrial crap.

If you want to go to the beach, you can go to Montanita or Atacames for parties. The first is the most popular but at 8-9 hours drive, the second is good also but more latin music instead of electronic (but less foreigners than Montanita). About 5-7 hours driving. Flights are also available for about 120-150$ return trip. Note: girls at the coast are lot hotter, more colombian style.

And yeah tinder for girls, I get a lot of matches actually and some fairly decent looking girls as well. Ill have holidays as well next week, so let me know if you wanna team up. I'll go out almost every day. Don't bother with badoo, only ugly girls.

For such mediocre women, they like to consider themselves as very choosy. That is their game. They are not very sexual in the mountainous regions, so it is mostly about getting attention.
Easier and sexier, though not necessarily prettier, can be had in the coastal regions of the country.

Yes definitely more aggressive, specially if you are a young gringo and they are below a 7. Never had them be aggressive with me and that is what most local men experience. I spent three months in Ecuador, had a fantastic time, got laid a lot (albeit with European hostel girls), have tons of great stories, and I didn't even get my Ecuadorean flag. Like others have said, the Ecuadorean girls tend to look very Mayan with short and wide bodies. The Ecuadorean girls that looked great seemed to be very hard to approach and very conservative. If they weren't married then they lived with their parents and had to be home before 10pm. Even if they were 30, they had to be out of the club and back home by 10. I'm not knocking their way of life; I loved the Ecuadorans very much and would love to live there. They're very cool and very welcoming and I would drop everything in my life if I won the lottery and retire to Ecuador if I had the chance. But it ain't easy to score a hot chick in Ecuador. The nice ones are snatched up pretty quickly and are constantly fawned upon, and thus, don't feel the need to do any work to make a man happy. This is, of course, a generalization and you may have a different experience.

Personally, there are so many fit, fun college girls from England traveling through Ecuador (still don't know why) that I didn't bother with the local talent. I did get invited to Quito by a 20 y/o dentistry student from Banos. But we were in Banos where her father was a doctor and she had to leave the bar at 10pm (per usual). She was very white European looking and upper class and very educated and invited me to come to hang out when she went back to school in Quito. She texted me to come up when she went back to school, but I was having so much fun in Banos and couldn't see busing 3.5 hrs to Quito to see a girl and then risk having her flake on me. I think she was very high quality, and witty, and hilarious and fun (and RICH) and maybe I fucked up by not pursuing it. But alas, I'm not getting on a bus on a whim.

So what I'm saying is, the opportunity is there, but it takes work. The girls there are nice, conservative girls that may indeed be worth the effort. But in reality, I was there to drink and party for three months and then go to Colombia. I wasn't there to score a trophy wife and spend the quality time to get the goods. They also love Jesus and church and stuff and I'm not into that. I'm a hedonist; I like drinking and doing whatever I like and don't want to do the Eddie Haskel routine with conservative parents.

There are certainly opportunities if you're very good looking, as anywhere. I had an English hostel buddy that was a very handsome guy that would slay local girls all the time. But he had lots of game and good looks and could score puss in the parking lot outside the club at 9:50pm before the girl had to scamper home to her dad's house. But he's the sort of guy that could do that anywhere he goes.

I think my NYC friend in Colombia said it best about Ecuadoran girls. He was older, like 58 or so and said he'd dated 3 Ecuadoran girls in NYC in the past. He said, "Those girls were so very high maintenance. I've never met a more egotistical, selfish woman in my life than an Ecuadoran."

Bro, the hostels get shittalked so much, but there is so much sex at the hostels. And if anyone wants to perpetuate the myth that Brits are fat fucks then I'll take them all for myself. But it's different with travelers, isn't it? I see fat, huge women all over the USA, but when I travel overseas, the traveler U.S. girls are usually fit. Been reading threads about SA today since I want to go there to study Spanish in the future. This is what I got;

To be considered:

Colombia; Different between cities. Medellin seems like the best option considering weather. Coast cities seems quite nice. Bogota too cold and messy. Cartagena too hot and touristy. A bit dangerous overall. One member got robbed and there is a discussion about safety in the Colombia master thread.

Not considering:
Uruguay; Rather small capital, girls look better in Argentina.
Bolivia; Ugly girls.
Peru; Ugly girls,
Ecuador; Ugly girls,
Venezuela; Hot girls but too unstable country.
Paraguay; Too small capital.

Argentina's weather is really rough around May. No snow though. I disagree about Chileans' accent being difficult. I think I agree with the rest of your post.

Yeah. It's like posting a picture of some girl who would even be ugly for the D.C. area and saying that all American girls are ugly. Bottom of the barrel for all cities and countries is really bad. No exception. Average in most places is also bad. Once you get into above average and and the top category is when there is a real variation among cities and countries.

Chile: People talk spanish waaaay too fast, you have to pay close attention to what people say.
Argentina: People talk some sort of Castellan Spanish with in with Latin American Spanish.
Colombia: Uses a near "pure" form of spanish, the flow is normal and understandable while the accent enunciation is not as heavy as other languages.

I always love coming into this thread and reading about the ugly girls in Ecuador, while I'm currently banging several gorgeous models here in Quito. Gotta know the place though, if you stick to the historical district in Quito or go to Cuenca then indeed you will only see very ugly girls.
