New forum rule: jailbait content

I just added a new rule to the registration page which September 1 users will see in a few days:

Quote:Quote:

10. No jailbait threads. Do not talk about where to find girls under 18 or how to have sex with them, even if it's legal in the location being discussed. Also do not post sexy pictures of girls that are confirmed to be under 18.

While the following two threads don't immediately cross the line, we want to get away from this type of discussion....

1. Abide by legal age or social norms
2. How to game high school girls in a suit

I believe the forum loses nothing by not talking about how to sleep with a minor. A high school guy can still ask for advice here, but this is not the forum for older guys to discuss game methods for girls under 18.

Good move. Especially for some future episode where the forum gets yanked into some public spectacle, and comes under scrutiny.

In this day and age you have to do what you have to do. We dont want the wrong people to start trying to shut down the forum due to something so trivial. So, I agree. Though if this was a Russian or Colombian based blog, I think we would all just have a laugh at any of these types of posts.

Fair enough! I also agree that it doesn't really matter, and it's not worth the risk of some idiots taking things the wrong way and "investigating".

Although, is it not the age of consent that is important, meaning that it is frequently under 18 no matter the other person's age, and 18 only if the other person is in a position of authority or power?

I agree, we can't afford a shut down of the blog because of such reasons from haters and the public opinion.
Another step towards a safer forum.

The rules for age of consent are pretty much different everywhere in the world. In Western Australia it's 16+, or 18+ if you're in a position of authority. In Queensland, you can't do anal with anyone under 18, or have sex with anyone under 16. in Victoria, you can go as young as 12, as long as you're not more than 2 years their senior, but for everyone else it's 16. In South Australia, you can't engage in any kind of sexual act with a woman under 17, unless they are your lawful spouse. And all of these rules are within the same country. This inconsistency makes it hard to come up with any kind of fair moderation that doesn't involve limiting all users to one particular age; hence the introduction of this 18+ rule.

Come on guys, what don't you understand about the rule: NO JAILBAIT CONTENT. That means you stop these discussions about age of consent. For the purposes of this site, consider anyone under 18 to be jailbait. This site gets enough shit already so drop the subject.

I understand the rule perfectly, you don't need to have a go at me, thanks.

No, of course we all understand. 18 is the only possible compromise for any forum with international audience, no matter where you are based.

My friend, I'm not trying to beat up on you, I'm just trying to get you all to stop having these discussions before Roosh has to put his foot down, or in someone's ass. Only one thing comes from a bunch of adult males discussing jailbait issues: trouble.

Thank you, Roosh. Our foreign friends have little understanding of just how this issue can completely destroy lives here in the United States.
