Noted, thanks.
Henry Rollins talks about his lifestyle and work ethic. He's single with no kids, pushing 50. He's got his whole year planned out with gigs lined up. Currently he's working in 2013. He's certainly not resting on his laurels and waiting for work to come to him.
Lessons learned:
Work your ass off.
Accept the trade offs with the lifestyle you chose.
Say yes to everything.

Ive always wondered if Henry Rollins is gay.
I've seen backstage footage of him talking to some really pretty girls who were being very flirtatious and he was having none of it. I can't find any pics of him with a gf ever.

I like the video and post, but I think Rollins' idea of "balance" is a bit off. Packing your schedule a year in advance and working 7 days a week without much time for other things doesn't sound like balance, but then again he's doing his calling so maybe it works for him.

Damn, I didn't realize he was so old. He looks a lot smaller than he used to. I read that he got into grind mode after joining Black Flag and Greg Ginn made the band practice for hours the days they weren't doing shows. He wouldn't have blown up if it wasn't for Greg Ginn who got him known all over the world.

I think he's always had a monkey on his back. He doesn't come across as very happy.

Right before opening the forum a minute ago,I was just thinking about him saying "When I was 18,all I wanted to do was fuck on the floor and break shit".5 seconds later this thread popped on my screen?I've seen the video a few months back, not bad
