A child born today in Sweden to UNMARRIED parents has a better chance of growing up..

Quote:Quote:

Here's the thing: the unit of reverence in Europe is the family, which is why a child born today of unmarried parents in Sweden has a better chance of growing up in a house with both of his parents than a child born to a married couple in America.

Wow. I love lambasting marriage, and I know Roosh does, too, and this just gave me a pile more ammo. I think if I ever want to have a kid I might just go to Northern Europe/Scandinavia, find a girl I like, knock her up, and go for it--she won't flip out over not being married and no one else will care, either...

I love how the article describes her as a "fugitive of marriage"

Hilarious.

Another great quote from the article:

"Marriage will be here long after humans are gone."

What a dummy

Sweden is a socialistic, cradle to grave welfare state, so it's easier to have a kid grow up there and be taken care of no matter what. The situation is different though on this side of the pond.

Marriage is perfectly fine if that's what you're ready for. If not, then don't get married. Simple as that for me. When it comes down to it, I see marriage like a business partnership, but the "business" is creating and maintaining a family rather than an enterprise.

I just checked the link and I must say that I was a very good post with some very good writings. I enjoyed reading it, it was a good piece of writing to be shared here. Marriage these days is considered to be just a business like Speakeasy said. I believe that the emerging tread with such a mentality is harmful. If you are ready to take the responsibility go for it but if not then it is wise enough to say no at the start.
