The Freshness Holy Trinity

We all know about how Baking Soda has changed my lives in providing a superior and economical approach to dealing with our underarms.

http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-4519.html

But Baking Soda for all of its wonders in dealing with sweat odor has its limits. Baking Soda does nothing internally which is where a lot of odors and scents can originate. Also Baking Soda is harsh on clothing over time and me personally have had issues with getting chemical burns when putting it on my nuts.

So over the past 6 months I have been tweaking my system of hygiene in regards to odor and have come up with a 'Holy Trinity' of three affordable products which will: Kill an instances of odor you will have from sweat.

Bold claims but this is all the stuff I use especially during school time when I am strapped for cash and eat homemade Curries almost daily. And to keep me from smelling like a Bengali Spice Shop on Brick Lane I needed to implement new products.

And not smell like this:

Thus..

The Freshness Holy Trinity:

1. Liquid Chlorophyll - Internal Cleanser ($9-17 for a 650-750ml bottle)

What Chlorophyll does is cleanse your insides. Mostly your guts and tract to rid them of foulness. The odors and scents from your foods break down and get sucked into your blood stream at large from these parts of your body. Diets heavy in meats, certain spices, dairy, etc can eventually get to the point where your pores end up being full of compounds and thus when you sweat giving you those "off" scents. Chlorophyll fixes all of this even to the point your gas will smell like.. well nothing really.

Dosages are a table spoon in glass of water once or twice a day. More times than not its flavor with mint and tastes quite good in water. It is a strong mix of plant extract and will stain the fuck out of your clothes so watch out to not spill it.

Also doubles as a great mouth wash. It stains your teeth but that green tint vanishes in about 15 mins after your brush. It does not stick to your teeth I find like wine does for instance.

A bottle lasts me about 3-4 months.

2. Crystal 'Alun' Deodorant Stones - Topical Deodorant ($1.00-$1.75 each)

These stones are my daily go to for casual deodorant use. Its less harsh on my clothes, less mess, and more convenient than Baking Soda. I can pack one in my Gym bag, and backpack and use it as needed throughout the day.

It basically is a more mild version of Baking Soda and does the same thing as it limits the environment that bacteria can grow of your sweat. You still sweat of course but you just do not smell. Since it is not as strong as Baking Soda it is key that you try to use the Eternal stuff also (hense the Trinity) to make it 100% affective. Its good on its own but for me I needed a extra boost to make it a 100% effective casual replacement.

This stuff is great I have a stone for my arms, my feet, and my face. I use it as a light face cleanser since it limits the bacteria on my face after washing (I only use salt or a Glycerin/clay bar on my face). Shit lasts about 2 months and they are dirt cheap.

3. Baking Soda - Topical - ($1 for a box)

This is the heavy lifter and even though I don't use it as much it is still my go-to for days when I need superior smell treatment. For the Gym, or days when I am rushing to work after a bang I will drown my self in the trusty Baking Soda for effective prevention of odor. Its only drawbacks is that it is too harsh for people with sensitive skin and it has ravished some of my dress shirts. But it is still superior to store bought stuff which is full of aluminum and chemicals.

---

The key of this Holy Trinity is that it is a system of products that can be used for many things and can be interchanged for desired situations and on desired days. Plus it combats all of the areas in which Body odor can be created and eliminates it. I have been on this system of and on for a year plus but consistently for 6 months now and I am very impressed with the results.

Here is a completely different method of of dealing with 'body odor':

Don't use anything at all

Have you ever been with a nice, healthy girl, who's natural scent without any products was absolutely fantastic and intoxicating?

For some reason, us westerners have a huge aversion to smell. When something 'smells', the connotation is that it smells BAD.

But that's not how it's supposed to be. Clean, healthy people with compatible pheromones/immune systems smell REALLY good to each other.

That's why it's called chemistry.

If you are happy, healthy, unstressed and eating a good diet, your natural smell is probably very attractive, on a powerful and deep level, to a lot of women.

Covering it up with chemicals is actually doing you a dis-service.

A steak is supposed to smell like a steak - you wouldn't eat it while covering your nose, and you wouldn't trust it if it didn't smell like a steak. It would be bland, empty, and missing a vital component.

A man is supposed to smell like a man, too.

So, in short. Showers: good. Soap: questionable.

All this crazy shit that we are told we need to use to cover up our smell: garbage.

Go caveman.

Going totally caveman is possible, but you need to have a very clean diet, and workout/sweat a lot to expel toxins. I compromise by only using soap in the shower every second day. I also use the crystal deodorants and rarely shampoo. Works fine.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

Naturallll, no deodorant, balanced diet with a lot of fruit and dairy, just use shower with basic soap(soap made of fat, no additive). GOOD to go.

This is all natural. And it does not limit the good chemicals your body produces. This system makes you smell like... well... nothing. Inside and out which is the key. I don't use scented soaps and the only time I deal with scents is a small splash of cologne.

For me school equals stress and different eating patterns, so this system is meant for people whom have tried everything and still may have some issues with odor from lifestyle. Its a internal issue and one should not have to sacrifice diet such as meats and dairy to regulate their smell.

The goal is not to rid yourself of all scents to smell like a hospital. This is a bacteria treatment plan which kills bad odors. Good odors to not creep out from bacteria they creep out from other factors such as attraction, sex, stress, anxiety, and mood overall. Bad odors can mask these good scents so managing your bad odors is key.

Liquid Chlorophyll...never heard of it but if it does what you say, here's an early thanks...living on a high protein diet does make for some horrid smells sometimes, gonna give that a shot.

Does the liquid chloryphyll have other nutritional benefits? I'm guessing yes since it's a strong plant extract, but it's worth the asking.

And where do you buy it? natural food stores?

frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

As far as nutrients go it is negligible - it contains K, C, Folic Acid, etc but its never listed on the bottle so I am unsure how much.

Chlorophyll is quite bizarre as it literally is 'plant blood' and helps out bodies red blood cells by boosting our hemoglobin. It boosts the quantity and quality of your red blood cells which makes things from recovery to nutrient distribution throughout the body better. It literally is like a fine high grade oil for our bodies like for a expensive European sports car. These are its main benefits as well as being a anti-inflamatory and antioxidient,

You can find the stuff in almost any Health food or Organic store. Chlorophyll is also plentiful in spirulina tablets (The powder is nasty) and Alfalfa sprout powders. These have more robust nutrition profiles so you can swap these in instead if you want more nutrients with the daily routine.

I prefer the liquid because you just toss a table spoon in your water canteen/bottle and forget about it. Its less hassle then the powders which need to be added to something like a smoothie to mask the taste.
