Booked flight into FLL Thu 25th - Sun. Holding onto hotel in hopes of last minute cancellations. Right now cheapest is $300 east side of island. Backup will be partying in miami for halloween so a good risk.

No but you can take that ferry to key west from down that way. I do have some friends there but huge rednecks I can ask.

Key west is 80% out, Hotels are still going for $300+ a night. Booking flight to miami and still hoping for a last minute fest hotel cancellation but just in case. Can some locals recommend good Halloween parties/outdoor events?

In my experience, your best bet in Brickell on Halloween is Baru Urbano. If that doesn't work, you can make a list ditch effort at Mangos in South Beach.

I was there, not really my scene. Did some dirty dancing with some young college chicks and a make out with a very nice 30ish woman. By 2am I was tired from partying and walking around since 8pm. Ye, it's easy to meet women but you have to get into the wild party vibe. Not easy to isolate. Most of the younger (22 and under) and in large groups. The 25ish are there with guys. Lots of older women/couples. These kinds of things are usually way over rated in my opinion. The fantasy rarely lives up to the reality in your head before you go there.

Only to take friends, not really my scene. I didn't, left late in the night. Some expired cougars prowling.
