Datasheet Organization Ideas

It's been a while since I updated the links in the Travel Forum Guidelines and City/Country List thread, and I think everyone can agree it needs to be done again. When I contacted Roosh, it sounded like he was interested in changing the way the datasheets are organized into some kind of Google's map type of thing. The problem according to Roosh is the datasheets are country specific instead of city specific, which would make the map inaccurate.

I want to say clearly that if I've misrepresented anything about Roosh's intentions, the fault is mine alone.

What I would like to do is spark some debate about new ways to display the datasheets. This is meant to be theory only, but I thought it might help give Roosh some ideas and maybe make it easier for the entire community.

Would it be possible to have an interactive map? Countries highlighted in a different colour if they are covered by a data sheet and stars on the map for cities covered. Maybe make it clickable so clicking on the cities highlighted takes you to that data sheet. I agree that it will be difficult though, for example I've posted a data sheet 'Belarus: Off the beaten track' so god knows how something like that would be marked on the map. It would be good to come to some kind of common concencus on places, whether they are good for bangs or not. Threads like the recent 'RVF myths de-bunked' thread might be the start of that process.

A clickable map would make organization easier if it could be done, my only worry is how exactly do we go about doing it. I don't agree though that we should recommend specific places. I mean guys have different styles, resources, etc. that could really make them more effective in one area then maybe the majority of other guys weren't. I'd prefer a more neutral approach to be taken, and it might be easier if some sort of official datasheet template was created. Standardizing a datasheet might make it easier for newbies to create them, and make sure we're getting as thorough of information as possible.

I'd be willing to hire a guy to keep an interactive map updated monthly.

@Wizard, I posted something similar in this thread: http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-12720-...#pid205759

Is that the idea you had in mind?

That is amazing Speakeasy, if we could create something like that off it would be really helpful. I guess my only worry is about getting people committed to actually doing it. We would also have to deal with the backlog of already created datasheets that would need to be done, but in theory I think that kind of Google map would really take datasheets to the next level.
