Why is the banning threshold so low?

I'm concerned even asking this may result in a ban. Yet, it needs to be addressed.

But, half these users with "strikethroughs" in their usernames, weren't even half that bad.

For a forum that prides itself on being so far from beta, using pee wee tactics and banning everyone who gets a quarter-millimeter out of line...seems a bit beta.

This forum has had so many trolls that the members who frequent identify them quickly and they get banned. This site has attracted so many haters, especially because Roosh uses his real name, that if they didn't get banned the forum would get quickly clogged up. You have not seen the worst stuff that has caused the forum to develop little tolerance for trolls.

There were also some particularly disturbing episodes where one troll posted lots and lots of gay porn that assaulted many an eyeball of many a forum member.

You will not get banned for posting this. You may not have noticed, because you haven't been on here for very long, but the banning has gotten a little bit less. Even Hun73r got banned only three days for his hater thread.

A lot of guys who didn't seem so bad trolled or provided inaccurate information over time (Dash Global) or were tolerated until they got to be too much (Bigbootyluvr). You got search through the forums to see why they get banned but you don't always see why. You kinda have to had been there to understand.

See this thread to see what the forum considers trolling, punishable by the banhammer depending on severity of trolling.

Lastly, if you don't like it here, no one is making you post here or read the threads this forum contains.

FYI, you're not "just asking." You're insulting the management and the membership with what you know to be the supreme insult of this community--beta. If you really just wanted to know, you'd PM this. Or, at least, just ask, abstaining from calling people names. Instead, it seems like you're trying to create drama or foment beef. Or, worse, trolling.

Especially, coming from a newb = 3-day ban

See you Friday.
