Married With Children, Complete Series,

I've always loved this show and to this day I have a thing for bleached blond '80s metal sluts. But objectively speaking, Married... with Children was far from a vindication of the hard-working family man and more of an attack on the family. It was created to help destroy that which it parodied. We are supposed to laugh at Al because we are meant to believe the white heterosexual male bread-winner is a despotic sucker who deserves the world's scorn.

Once you had Leave it to Beaver and The Brady Bunch. After American society sank to depravity and filth in the '60s, you eventually got to All in the Family and Married... With Children. The lunacy reached its zenith with the twisted, freakish Friends.

Anyway... The brilliant thing about Married... was how they managed to make so many jokes out of the same one theme. It never ceases to delight how the writers continually come up with new ways to insult your spouse. haha

I never viewed it that way. To me, Al Bundy was the canary in the coal mine warning men about the downsides of marriage.

Married With Children, Complete Series,

Too bad Al didn't have the internet back then! He totally would have had his own manosphere MRA blog.

Ed Hardy wearing Bud Bundy claims that he's learning game from Neil Strauss:
