Preparing for Brazil

Bar or Night Club?
Well, if is a bar, u can go to Bar Brahma... This place was the night scene during the 60's (there is a song talking about the block where is located), students, artists, musicians, were there as a dictatorship refugee. Today, the best of MPB (Popular Brazilian Music) is played there... it worths the visit. however, go by cab. any reasonable person, including me is afraid to walk through downtown alone.
OR, if u are afraid to go by yourself there, Vila Madalena there is Bleecker' Street (funk, samba and groove music), Fidalga 33 (rock), Morrison (around R$20 entrance - rock)... all Inacio Pereira da Rocha Street is full of options.

I don't know, be more specific about what u want...

As expected, I have had no problem for the most to understand close to 85% and be understood just with spanish.
Last night I was in a USP party and there were tons of action up for grabs, got invited to a private party tonight and mazbe i can up my notch count.
SP girls are not easy at all and I have been surprised by the amount of white, maybe it is the areas i am moving at, but there are tons of great looking girls, the exception to the rules here are the ones who have ugly derrieres.

Hahahaha I never been into USP party, but I can tell you were surrounded by the cultural elite (people who can go college), which represents 10% of the country. Over this 10%, only 10% or less is black. In Brazil, the rich and middle - class study at public schools and the poor ones at the private school, because they don't have time (and the background) to prepare for the application exams and most of the private schools are a joke. That's why just saw white chicks. And my guess is that this party was in some place outside FFLCH (philosophy, history and culture depart). The girls hv mustaches and don't take bath... lol. (not lying)
They are that ugly.

Preparing for Brazil

that sounds like the explanation to my unexpected view of people in SP.
The first girl I approached at Ciudade Universitaria was a red hair with a killer ass and so on.

The 2 parties I went to were from ECA and from the physical ed. faculties, respectively, so the amount of 8-10s was a shock even for me, but hey! I was all over that problematic experience [Image: tongue.gif]
