Vibe of Burlington: Very laid back and chill. Similar to Santa Monica
Cost of Burlington: Considering its a college town prices are kept low to make it college friendly. Pretty much all the jobs in the town are held by college students.
Where to stay: Anywhere near church street which is the main street with all the bars
Colleges: The University of Vermont (UVM), Burlington College, and Champlain College are located in this college town
Ratio: I was in Burlington after graduation so many had already left but the ratio seemed more women than men. I would say a 5-3 ratio FM to M
Nightlife: Burlington is one of those small towns where everything is on one street (Church street) this is where you would chill and day game, smoke at night, and pick up drunks after close. Its a bar town with maybe one or two small clubs. If you have good bar game this is your spot.
Avg age of women would be between 18-22, and many simply walk to bars from campus / apartments
Tons of house parties go on during the weekend while school is in session I'm sure.
Where to eat: Church street, as I said mostly everything is on this street
Ethnicity: I would say about 90% white, 5% asian, 3% middle eastern, 1% black, 1 other.with that being said, Burlington police are out and about all the time. So if your a brotha be ready to have eyes follow you unless you dress like Carlton Banks
Who should visit Burlington: If you in your early 20's and are good at house party scene.
Cougar Scene: I saw a few cougars but nothing worth going after. Might be different during session
Chance of success are very very high. I would suggest only going during the first weekend of school when everyone is out partying and trying to make friends. If your a pro at the college niche scene this is right up your alley.
