Ive heard that women in e.g. brazil (or other parts of the world) tend to be a lot friendlier than those in the US (or Germany for that matter).

What happens when they immigrate to the US,etc.?

Do they stay the way they were raised, or do they gradually adapt to the behaviour of local women with who they hang out?
(I'm thinking mostly of arrogance & being stuck up..as soon as they're slightly above average in terms of looks)

PS: Of course, I'm only referring to the majority of women, I know there are exceptions.

Forget about brazil. Those women will act friendlier towards you only because the foreign status is associated with wealth, and also because being with a tall white dude (more so if blonde hair and blue eyes are included in the packet) means social improvement in most of the third world nations. Most of the third world countries that people rave about in this forum (brazil, colombia and south east asia) have the blonde blue eyed european looks as their beauty ideal.

Anyways brazilian women are highly overrated for the most part. Brazilian women usually have fat bellies due to bad eating habits (eating too much fried stuff,etc) and their faces are closer to hideous in the mayority of cases.

Most of the Thai students I know who did university and lived and worked in the states are pretty much the same, although they tend to stick amongst themselves a lot, don't really have a lot of American friends etc

It depends on how strong is the host culture and how adaptive is the foreign woman culture.German way forces to Germanization that is you have to lose certain ethnic features and adopt German ways to adapt otherwise the society punishes you.US allows for more diversity eg you can retain more features of your national cuture as long as they are not offending for the others.
Certainly slavic women who move to Germany change a bit and become more similar to German women in some extent.However I noticed some peculiar patterns for example the Poles tend not to mingle with foreigners resulting in polish women keeping at least a 80% of their local polish patterns(the same in Greece they keep all the polish culture to our relief-they are not touched by conservatism).Contrary to that Russians tend to adapt more that is a Russian or Ukrainian woman will have changed at least a 50% of her patterns one year after she has moved to Germany.This happens because Russians strive to get connections to local people and are assimilated in some degree.

Bad news-- often they have already started changing before you meet them, just by watching brain-dead consumerist culture shit on TV if they watch TV. Also by seeing the "hawt" YoungTallCool Murkan and Western Europe guys on FaceWhore they can get or hope they can get.

Makes some money and get out while you can.

Also, three month work periods in US like many students do ruin them just like a three month period in EE will ruin you for Murkabeests.

I think you and I Deb, are the ones who like the young ones the most on this forum for the same reasons.

Honestly it depends on the woman. I think it is more to do with the attitude of the individual. My ex wife didn't lose any of her Russian identity. She still retained her femininity but she picked up a lot of nasty feminist habits. By the end of our marriage, I was basically made to feel like shit for just being a man. This is what can happen to someone when they are impressionable and get exposed to a lot of feminist based media. However I know other women who came over from Russia and they don't buy into any of the shit the western media throw down their throat.

Its a complete lottery whether you get a good or a bad one. I know guys who have been married for 10 years plus to Russian women and the women has not changed in attitude from how she was in Russia. I also know some, myself included, where the woman has turned into everything you despise in a western woman. This is what I have observed with Russians/Ukranians

I have 5 friends married to Thai women. They have all been married for 5+ years. These women all stayed the same. The SEA women seem to be less inclined to pick up nasty western habits from my personal observations.
