Intercultural Game 101

Today I learned that there is an area of science called intercultural communication or cross-cultural communication. It's a topic focusing on basically understanding things like what Roosh talks about in Bang Denmark, like Jante Law. Basically the essence of what should really be discussed in a international player forum, how to get into foreign pants by "fitting in" their culture, their group, etc. and how to be "normal" in your behavior in their eyes.

I have recently lost some 9s who I was very close to closing. I don't even know what happened, one minute they are all yours, answering your calls, ready to meet and go to the end of the world with you, talking to you for the longest time, etc..

Then you say something that's a cultural faux pas in their country like something that doesn't go with Jante Law or whatever the heck their local custom is and you lost them. And you don't even understand wtf you said wrong.

It's next to impossible to find this kind of info on dating in a particular country online, all I can ever find is "business communication" BS like should you be on time at business meetings or not and how to use your utensils right. So why not start a thread where players that have lived in a certain country give some basic tips on the local girls like "should you be aggressive at first meeting" - in some countries it's expected whereas in other countries like the US it will get you labeled as a big creep.

Here is a real money tip to get this thread started, I can attest to it because I've lived in Russia and the US for a long time. Feel free to add more tips on different countries.

Russian women like the direct approach. The best way to meet a Russian girl is ask directions or just start talking about anything or recommendations where to go to. Then ask them what they are doing in Moscow, are they are student or do they work. Ask them ‘if they would be terribly offended if you asked them for their cell phone number”. Or just skip the sms and ask them if they would give you a tour or on another day go for a walk in the park.

I do not think American or western European girls would even consider this, they would label you as a stalker or a nut.

I completely agree with your sentiments, but in threads we often do touch upon cultural data to help build rapport with the women. It's part of the entire package.
