HI guys

I recently read some posts here and saw that there is practically none intel about Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay.
I lived there for some years and i always travel there so i can share some facts about the city.

- Montevideo has 1.5 million people living there
- By latin american standards is the most secure capital city int he whole region.
- The weather is good, not to hot in summer(30-35 degrees celsius MAX) and not to cool in winter (7-8 degrees celsius min)
- As i said before, its the most european city of south america, even more than buenos aires(buenos aires is a cosmopolitan city nowadays).
-Montevideo lacks world class bars and pubs, but the few it has are stormed by people very late
in the night (1am) and they close on sunrise (6am-7am).
- The city is not well mantained, its a dirty city and uruguayans are not hard working people.
- Women are of the same stock as in Argentina, mostly descendant from europeans( spain and italy) but there are also descendants from germany, poland, hungary, france, england,etc. There also a minority of african descent(mostly 5-10% of the population).
- Women are nice, not as bitchy as in buenos aires, uruguayans are very nice and polite people, maybe a little bit reserved. One thing though that is different between uruguayan females and argentineans is that women in uruguay are not that into fashion and style.(this is changing a little bit as the economy has improved and new stuff and products are coming to uruguay)
- I would rank Uruguayan chix in terms of beauty on par with Argentina, Brazil and colombia in a proportionate way. There are stunners here and also fat ugly women. The normal uruguayan girl is very fuckable(6-7). One thing i noticed is that uruguayan girls have big tits. As in mediterranean countries they are not too tall.
- There is some turmoil now in uruguay regarding assasination of women by their men ( mostly for sentimental reasons, AKA slutty uruguayans ), though i think this also happens a lot in spain.
- One the things is dislike about uruguay is the lack world class products and services. If you want
variety and quality, you will have a hard time. Also Uruguay is an expensive country.( for south american standards only behind brazil and chile).
- It is also true that Uruguay is an expat retirement destination.
-In summer the nightlife goes to the east in Punta del Este and Rocha. The best women of buenos aires, montevideo and southern brazil go to Punta del Este. Sadly you need a lot of cash for having a blast there.

Do you have any tips on getting there economically from the U.S.?

Might you know how are morenos perceived? Are girls open like in parts of Mexico & Colombia, or are morenos put near the bottom of the totempole like in Peru?

Also, do you know if Canadian/American would need a visa if a plane was to connect in Brasil ?

Well the cheapest way to travel to uruguay from usa is flying from Miami. there are direct flights from miami to montevideo via american airlines. Another way is from LA with a stop in Panama but i think that flight is more expensive.
As for the moreno thing, well Uruguayans are a little bit racist towards everyone that has not european features. So people from african, asian or native american descent will have a tough time in Uruguay. ( in some way its similar to buenos aires). Maybe the minority of african descendants living in uruguay could be more open though...
As a matter of fact i did some testing with this. I was born in a latinamerican country with a sizeable native american population. Descendants from european are less than 15% in my country of origin, but i'm part of that 15%, so i have european physical traits and features. When i met people in Uruguay they thought i was uruguayan, argentinean or brazilian, but when i said my nationality they couldn't believe me! Even the girl that was my gf there( a mix between spanish and italian beauty) told me how her friends kept telling her how could she fuck a dude from that particular country full of native americans. That image changed instantly when they met me in person... generalizations can be a pain in the ass sometimes...
