Some interesting points. Just as some men are now waking to the preverbal matrix of modern feminism, it is also becoming apparent that for younger men, the stifling access to HD porn catering to any fetish is dulling the carnal desire of seeking out real sex. If you are an unsocialized beta young male, why deal with the demands and effort of the modern woman when you can simply beat off to HD porn served up in the most mentally arousing capacity (the fetishes that arouses you, extremely attractive women). Why compete with women when you can satiate your natural desire for violence and competition through increasingly realistic video games?
You've got it backwards, just like Lombardo.
Porn is a symptom of major problems, not a cause. It is a way for young men to deal with the fact that a) they have been raised to believe themselves inherently unworthy in modern society (compared to women, who are constantly praised for doing
literally nothing, men are often shamed just for being men) and b) have to deal with
very poor gender ratios at this point in time (the average 18-30 something young male faces an uphill battle for a mate-there are not enough to go around).
Video games, likewise, are also a symptom.
Our schools (along with the rest of our society) have moved to cater to female methods of social organization and development. They generally ignore, shame, or stifle the male equivalents of these. Video games gives men an avenue through which they can channel the aggression that schools no longer allow them to channel. This is the reason that first person shooters are so popular.
Men are aggressive creatures who need a place to put that aggression. The more neutered schools become ("everyone wins" youth sport leagues, no more dodgeball because its "too violent", etc, etc), the more alternatives men will look too. In some cases, these alternatives include crime and other unsavory things. In the best cases, they include Halo 3. Society keeps trying to turn men into women by eliminating this natural tendency, but it will never work. The more roadblocks you put up, the more alternatives men will seek (and you won't like many of these alternatives).
Men are just trying to find a way to deal with the cards they've been dealt. Of course, since they're men (and therefore inherently less valuable to modern western society than our females), this is still a problem, still needs to be shamed and still needs to be "dealt with". We never ask if anything is wrong with young women or if anything is wrong with the modern society men are facing. No, it is always "what's wrong with the men???!!!"
I'm going to quote what a particularly insightful commenter on this daft talk said:

Here’s an alternative point of view that isn’t based on the assumption males are incapable of self-actualization. And the radical assertion that males have emotions, and they care about more things than the score of the game and getting laid.
Perhaps what we’re witnessing is the post-feminist impact on the development of male progeny, in a society that hasn’t had a male liberation movement. Young boys today are shouldering the negative rhetoric from past archetypes. Women have rightfully found their voice in modern society, while young males are still searching for meaning in the void. Video games, porn and social media are the effect, not the cause. It’s escapism - not into fantasy but rather away from reality. The “social awkwardness” is simply young boys who have been raised to believe they are innately unworthy.
New technologies, in context, don’t hold any more sway than a naughty daguerreotype or the development of the telephone. While games have been an evolutionary necessity in the advancement of our species. Games are safe experiential learning.
Lets stop defining males by perceived deficiencies in their psychological make-up and redefine the male archetype based on the positive traits that have been suppressed or denied for generations. We will all be better for it.
