What do these studies on animals and humans tell us about the relationship between testosterone and sexual activity? There is no research we could find that points to a significant drop in testosterone post-ejaculation. In fact research tells us that the opposite seems to be true. Men will have significant jumps in testosterone levels from sexually arousing stimuli(and certain other types of stimuli). The research also suggests that sexual encounters and ejaculation, will not effect and may increase, testosterone blood levels.
Viewing sexually arousing material, without ejaculating, before working out should be beneficial for improving workouts. Ejaculating before working out, would probably not be ideal, since ejaculation also releases endorphins(pain killing) natural hormones in the body. This would in turn effect your strength and energy before your workout.
The Chinese study also suggests that abstaining from ejaculation will not increase your testosterone levels long term and hence, not improve your bodybuilding gains. Recent studies are also showing a significant drop in prostate cancer risk, for men who more frequently ejaculate. According to current research, ejaculation (or sex) is not going to lower your testosterone levels, in either the short term or long term.

I have read that in the short term busting a nut will make you more calm, relaxed and in general less aggressive (this we all know) but that over a prolonged period of time actually makes your testosterone level more healthy and plentiful. So if you were going into any sort of aggressive competition, you might benefit from abstaining from sex or masturbation for a few days, or a week or so. But if for no specific reason you just didnt have sex or masturbate for weeks on end your body stops replenneshing what is not missing, so if you go a long time without sex your testosterone will actually start to lower.

This confirms my personal experience.

BTW Oxcytocin doesn't get released in men. The male equivalent is called Vasopressin.

im not a big fan of squats myself, my left knee gives me problems sometimes. i play football regularly as well so i try not to overwork my legs.

In my experience, it's happened when i've done a hard session and can feel that pumped feeling. When you work out hard your muscles fill with blood and they are visibly bigger and feel a lot tighter as well. that is what your aiming for. if you hit the gym a lot you may know what i mean. it feels like your muscles are about to explode.

There doesn't seem to be a specific exercise that triggers the pump. it seems linked to heart rate though. but NOT cardio. the common factor for me has been big weights with high energy lifts. what that means is you put 1000% into every exercise and i MEAN 1000%.

for me its happened with bench press and dumbbell curls or EZ bar curls.

If you have a steady girl that you want to try this with then i could happily walk you through it.

And @Calex, how do know that? i know what i felt. maybe its not testosterone then but the thing i'm talking about IS real.

vasopressin is anti-duiretic hormone.stops your body from losing too much fluid.

edit: just read its also used in social behaviour & bonding...didnt even know that.

Yes the workout thing is correct you get a spike in testoserone post-workout. Legs are the hardest muscles to work thus why you usually get the biggest spikes. But don't over do it tho! Many people in general train to long and hard and end up depleting their natural HGH and going into a Testo deficit (when your body is in crisis mode the last thing it wants to do is attack or go hunt poon). 45-1hr tops. Add a extra 15 min if your rolling hard but if your working out aggressively, quick, and smart 45-1hr is more then enough time to pump out adequate sets. The dudes I see in the gym for 2hrs+ stay the same size lol.

Yes. absolutely true. i never spend more than an hour in the gym. if you're doing weights for more than an hour then you are wasting time or not going hard enough. go hard or go home. that is the attitude you need to build muscle. i think 20-30 minutes per muscle group is about right if you know how to work out properly.

My guess is that with a female around, even after you bust a nut you're still sniffing all the pheromones coming off of her, and get horny again pretty rapidly.
