How do you guys use social networks such as FaceBook and Twitter? I see the benefit of using them as a tool to connect with the ladies, but I also see how women have this need to "collect" friends and messages to validate themselves.
Is there a strategy to use this networks that is ALPHA?

Random facebook messages or wall posts to girls you haven't met in person is a huge no-no as it designates you as the typical online creeper.
When you meet girls at a party or wherever, get their name and add them a couple days later and follow up casually with a witty or genuine message. most everyone is down for facebooking eachother, so while it seems lame to ask for their full name, it's really not that awkward if its for facebooking

The only time I've had any success with girls online is when they hit me up first. I've been seeing a girl casually since last February that hit me up on myspace a few years back. We were just friends the majority of the time but earlier this year started seeing each other. Most cold emails I've sent out on myspace were ignored, or if she doesn't ignore me, she won't continue the conversation beyond two or three emails. So I gave that up some time ago. And the thing is, I ONLY hit up girls if I've read their profiles fully and think I have a lot of commonality with her, and when I write them, I mention something in their profile I found interesting rather than "Holla at me girl" or some crap like that. Even then, I still have little success. When I talk to attractive girls I know that are on myspace, they are getting nonstop inundated with guys emailing them so for the most part it's a pretty low return on investment in my inexperience. Same with match.com and all that stuff. However, if they hit you up first, getting a date is usually pretty easy. Of course then you have the problem of them showing up and looking a bit um...different, from their pictures.

I've tried cold approach emails on myspace...
So far... I doesn't work one bit...
And apparently adding you as a friend means nothing... Because a pretty girl added me and I thought hey maybe she'll actually talk to me... no... I... was wrong... and yeah.

It's infinitely better to meet women in the real world.

It's infinitely better to meet women in the real world.
W/that out of the way
You can use new technology to get laid in 3 ways
1) Helps out your real world game - You meet someone in the real world, exchange contact information including their "facebooK', and you have a way to reach them/advertise your own goods.
Assuming you have a solid connect, but can't hook up due to logistics.
- contact
- escalate contact (IM is best for this)
- phone call
- meet up
It's a low pressure/long game. I.E, don't put much stock into it. Depending on your demographic, this can work very well.
2) Working her social circle
- you're in good with a prospect/pivot
- you meet her friends in the real world
- you friend them on the networking site.
see #1
3) The Spaminator
- build a good page (there's plenty of game related facebook stuff out there, do a search)
- spam your targets - ie send out 100 vague msgs, and see who writes back.
The basic lesson of social-networking is that advertising works.
Get your product out there, and then qualify your customers.

I've always found Myspace to be pretty good for cold approaching. You can always comment on something about their page that interests you(same likes, etc.) and just go on from their.
At least that's how Ive always done it -

I've tried using Facebook to supplement real life game. By using indirect, non-creepy opening messages ("Hey! Where in Argentina are you from? I have a friend living in ______.") I've been able to get some message exchanges going, the problem being that they stale out randomly.
Stick with real life--used for game, Facebook is rigged. Most people use it for keeping in contact with a few close friends and collecting lots of friends for validation. If you really worked hard on polishing your profile, having lots of friends, lots of good pictures of you, etc you might be able to get a day 2 from it. Too much work in my opinion
