The Hillary Clinton thread

The Hillary Clinton thread

I just noticed that Hillary is 67 years old right now, birthday in October so she'll be 68 this year, 69 next year and if she won she'd be 70 when taking office.

I seem to recall a lot of banter about McCain's age when he was 70 back in 2008 running against Obummer. The Dems skillfully used it as a talking point as much as they could get away with. Most left-leaning sites (i.e. almost all of them with a few exceptions) went after him with this angle (some spun it like "well it's not an issue so much now, but what about in 2-3 years when he's 72-34)!", others just flat out said he's too old). Here's a sample of stories I pulled up:

1) http://www.usnews.com/news/campaign-2008...ntial-race

2) http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0508/10529.html

3) http://www.pewresearch.org/daily-number/...e-problem/

4)http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree...ctions2008

5) http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/...newssearch

A lot of the younger/MTV-generation types jumped on this bandwagon. As the Pew Research report shows, 32% of registered voters thought his age was an issue when disclosed!

I remember a bunch of my Millennial cousins and their prog friends talking on and on about how McCain was just "too old" and "couldn't represent them and their views in this day and age" (I wasn't a McCain supporter for the record).

I'm sure the same will happen in this case with Hillary, right guys? [Image: lol.gif]

Especially by the Millennials, since obviously such an old women must be "out of touch" with the younger generations?

I won't hold my breath!
