Thanks for the info on places to find talent.

What really irks me about London is the abysmal living standard when it comes housing. If I want to stay in Westminister, Kensington or Chelsea anything but the most crummy place is over 200 GBP/night.

What kind if place does a successful Banker in London live in for example? I don't want girls turning in the door because my place looks like something dole queuers would sneer at.

A lot of successful bankers have big houses in the commuter belts, home county locations such as Essex, Buckinghamshire, Surrey. The ones who live in London, will be staying in townhouses over in the Western parts of the city mostly, occasionally North London locations like Hampstead, maybe the couple of good places in South London, like Chislehurst and West Dulwich. Not failing to mention Mayfair and Kensington.

There really isn't a common mean average though, you will find high earning professional and city types who live in nice houses and flats but in run down areas.
