The trailer is darkly funny - instead of it being about a player who fucks lots of women and settles for one - like every other romance movie, it's about a slut who finally 'falls' for a guy.
The last scene of the trailer is only a slight exaggeration of how real sluts behave nowadays.
..
Heh - "He is calling you!? What's wrong with him? I'm calling the police!"
Frankly I like that Amy Schumer character - of course she makes fun of herself being a slut - probably some of it only substantiated, but I prefer them talking the truth instead of that fake "empowered" Sex And The City crap, where the women get 200-1000+ notches and still feel hot and marriage-worthy.
And to be honest - it's not impossible that such girls exist especially in NYC. A Beta doctor falling for a slut? Sure - happens all the time - even born-again virgin ex-sluts snatch up good successful Christian men, after they return to the Midwest to marry a Beta after her Amy-Schumer-experiences in the big city.
I think for a change this could be funny as it shows women in a more realistic light. It won't be Red Pill of course since the good man will wife up a hoe and they will live happily ever after.
More sluts will come forward in their open hypergamy and say: "See - it worked for her, so let's stuff more cocks in that pussy before I find Mr. Right."
Agreed, this is just retelling shit that happens in real life, about 3 years before she divorces him, takes his money, and rides the dick train back to unhappiness land.
And I like Amy Schumer, or at least I did until she started spewing the "love yourself" crap. Back in the day when she was on Opie and Anthony, she was probably the first funny female comic I'd heard.
As far as the movie, it'll probably bomb. It doesn't look that funny, nor is it extremely compelling. A few girls might see it, but the leading man isn't overtly attractive, and even a 5 slut thinks she can get a more handsome surgeon in New York.
