If you can't do savory in the morning, you're pretty much screwed. My advice is to learn to love savory in the morning. This is your chance to eat lots of delicious eggs.
Failing that, better to drink a protein shake and snack on eggs mid morning than to keep eating cereals. They are more or less waste calories (over simplification, but broadly true), unless you're looking for cheap extra calories to fuel performance based training, which by your own admission you are not.
