You can say you're the shit internally, but in reality probably you are not. If you still think you are the shit good, but for some it doesn't work....there's need to be a hack mindset to still feel better than them. What the fuck are you all about "beating an other man", "competing", "being better".
While sexual market is competitive in itself, your biggest competition is yourself.
Even if you are as good-looking as you describe and make 500k/year you may still be a Beta, who gets cheated on by his wife after some time - cheated with a less-good-looking, poor, but highly dominant Alpha.

Your definitions of a Player might be off too - if you are famous, very good-looking or extremely wealthy you could literally fuck hundreds of high-level girls, but still get played like Paul McCartney by a one-legged bitch.
In the 'sphere I don't think that anyone would call someone a Player without the Alpha/Sigma mindset. In addition most Players should have Game, but depending on the state they are in, they don't really need much.
Examples:
1. Tom Torrero - average height, average or even sub-average looks, but slays girls much hotter and younger than him through sheer overpowering Game-level and time put in approaching girls where his lower looks-value is not as stingy - during Day Game mostly
2. Nick Krauser - average looks, though now probably way above-average charisma added, stupendous Game skills - succeeds much in the same way Tom Torrero does
3. Steve Jabba - above average looks, higher attraction, also Night Game valid for him - still way superior Game skills to bang 18-22yo while being almost 40
4. Dan Bilzerian - Alpha state in mind and character, 100 mio. $ in assets, exciting lifestyle, self-created social media fame, has no need of Game - pussy flows to him, but without his Alpha state he would get played by girls and they would not stay
Alpha is a state of mind - your tough-as-nails Alpha grandfather does not stop being Alpha just because he is 80. His market value may be too low to slay pussy, but his state is forever and he is likely still respected by his wife and his children.
Being a Player is something else - it's more a lifestyle - you might want to check out the Alpha archetypes on Return of Kings recently. The guys I mentioned above would all be Players - all different basic sexual market value, all need to work at different levels to get similar pussy, but all at least occasionally bang similar girls - maybe are even Eskimo Brothers.
