Last night I went out in the shitty Midwestern City I currently reside to check out the nightlife. I had heard from friends a few new spots that were good so we all went to check them out.
Yet, the night blew through and through...
No one seemed to be having any fun at the 4 different bars/clubs I checked out. Nightlife is currently dead where I am located, a surprising and sad realization after enjoying Latin nightlife for the first time in my life for the last 4 months.
After the third lame bar and somewhat mentally exhausted after opening and carrying a few sets of 4-5 chicks for awhile, I decided to sit back and observe why all these bars were ass last night.
Now the weather could be the easy answer as no one likes to go out in the cold. However, it was more than that. I noticed a number of common themes from the places we were at that signify a bar or club is going to be lame:
Girls On Tinder At The Bar
Yes, there were multiple girls actively swiping or chatting on Tinder while they sat in their groups of 4-5 girls and gossiped. It seems girls where more interested in their girls nights because they all get banged on weeknight drink dates each and every week.
At first, I took this as a sign to approach as I assumed they were thirsty. Yet, it seemed these girls used Tinder to supplicate their lack of normal social skills. This has to be a worse sign for nightlife than girls simply on their phones.
Sitting In Groups
A few years back the nightlife in the city I'm currently in was not like this, but recently everyone sits in groups and chats. Dance floors were barren last night. Never a good sign for a man trying to get laid.
Open Spaces
As many have said, it's much tougher to get laid at a place where everyone can see everyone. There is no place for a promiscuous girl to hide. The venues where I'm at seemed to have all changed to these type of open spaces where there are no places to hide or sneak around a corner to escalate and make out.
...So what are some other signs you notice at a bar or club that indicate your going to have an uphill battle ahead of you?
