If you want to be safe in Pereira, stay somewhere on/near Via Circunvalar. The whole street is commercial, malls, bars, restaurants, so even late at night there will be people around and it's not as sketchy as the rest of Pereira. Anywhere from the roundabout at the top of Circunvalar down to the the stoplight near the McDonalds is good for day game and night game, and during the day you can walk down to Victoria mall/Exito area without problems. There is some seriously hot ass in that city with much less plastic than Medellin.
