So what you see are a lot of guys who start working early (the other 1/4) but are kept down from progression because they're not taken seriously by seniors. The average starting age just seems to be shifted here by 5-7 years.

That's what happens when education becomes too affordable. It becomes worthless in a competitive marketplace. Everyone stacks up their "free" degrees against each other, so they study longer to get the next level and gain a competitive advantage. The end result is that people enter the workforce later. Better for society overall but poor economics.

Very interesting. We had a bunch of german exchange students back in school and i was wondering why they were all 25-28 years old considering that an undergrad degree only lasts 3 years over there.

I assumed they were a bunch of dumb party bros because they got drunk almost every single day but most ended up near on top of our Statics class.

I think they also take longer to graduate because at the state schools it's a bitch getting registered for a class. Classes fill up quick and if you're unlucky you'll have to wait another year.

The learning is also not very intensive like our schools. The german dudes were all confused when 20 % of our grade for a technical writing class was for attendance & homework. In Deutschland, you have a midterm and a final ( and in many cases just a final) and no one gives a fuck whether you attend class or not. So a lot of people work during the semester incorrectly assuming a few weeks of studying before the final will be sufficient.

In addition Germans also like to take a year after high school to "find themselves" either in Namibia, Costa Rica, Ecuador or the even here in the states. Easy pickings … I tried banging 2 of these post-highschool-find-myself-sluts but didn't succeed.

They won't fuck you if you if you're good-looking, jacked and have you're shit together. They usually bang some broke hipster degenerate who doesn't lift or shave.
