I just don't have the impression that their hypergamous nature subsides - often coupled with an inflated sense of SMV - even though they may intellectually know that their chances are quickly running out the further they get past 30. They still want that same guy they could have had or thought they could have had when they were 5 or 10+ years younger.
That's based on my experiences with primarily Scandinavian and Bulgarian women over 30. Different in some regards - and the Scandinavian over 30s jumping into bed quicker, just like their younger countrywomen - but not that much in others.
