This is proof not only that Anita Sarkeesian is a total fraud, but that the SJW virus which has infected the vast majority of media outlets in the West has become so powerful that it is actively overriding good business practices and plain old common sense.

The complete and utter lack of the most basic fact-checking by these "journalists" is a direct consequence of their SJW ideology, because to fact-check Anita Sarkeesian's story would be to discount and question her claim of victimhood. And questioning the victimhood of a person who claims protected victim status is the cardinal sin of social justice. And so Anita can spin her tale of harassment and death threats completely out of whole cloth, without even bothering to make a fake report to the police, with no danger that any establishment journalists will even bother to investigate. They will simply take her claim at face value, because she is a victim according to the rules of social justice, and victims are never to be subjected to any type of scrutiny. To do so would actively "oppress" them, "trigger them" or be a form of "victim blaming".

Now, contrast the behavior of journalists in this situation with how they act when the subject of their story crosses their SJW ideology rather than supports it. In those cases these journalists cannot dig deep enough for dirt on their ideological foes. They won't hesitate to destroy a man's reputation and career. We've seen it now over and over. It's how they operate.

What this tells us is that media in the West is now totally infected with the SJW virus, to the extent that there is hardly even any pretense anymore that they are seeking to communicate objective truth and facts. Modern Western media is entirely focused on promoting the SJW/progressive narrative to such a degree that they won't even engage in the most basic fact checking when covering stories that are pro-SJW. Basic common sense would tell you that this isn't smart over the long term, because it's bound to eventually blow up in their faces. What can we deduce from this? They drank their own Kool-Aid. They aren't just pushing this shit because they're toeing the line their bosses give them, they're doing it because they are true believers in the cause. They aren't failing to fact check because they're incompetent, they're failing to fact check because their zealousness for the SJW cause literally blinds them to the possibility that a "victim" could be lying.

The fourth estate, which the public has traditionally relied on to communicate truth and uncover lies, has literally inverted itself: now it communicates lies and intentionally covers up the truth. What began as the Information Age has quickly degenerated into the Disinformation Age. These days, the truth is only to be found in places like the RVF, the manosphere in general and in other dark corners of the internet. As ridiculous and grandiose as it sounds, in this Age of lies, we are truly the last men who stand for truth. Everything and everyone else has been corrupted or destroyed. Every institution, corporation and government is now actively pursuing an agenda of lies and deceit. The battle for the soul of the West is not being fought with guns and bombs, but with blogs and Tweets. It is an ideological enemy we face rather than a physical one, and so our battles is one of ideas. If the tide is ever going to turn in this fight, it will turn here, for we represent the only remaining bastion of truth in the world today. Beyond us there is nothing and no one.
