Disagree - on a man with good posture, low body fat and broad shoulders, the lanky look can be quite fashionable. It has a rather chic connotation - people with tall elegant bodies are in short supply among the lower classes nearly everywhere you look. This is the typical male model look - a little bit of muscle in the shoulders, arms and chest, but otherwise it's just height, especially long legs, good posture and then a handsome face and interesting well fitting threads. Eg, http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/suits . If you look at vintage men's fashion drawings, from the likes of Esquire and others, the men are always tall, thin with broad shoulders. This is the archetype of an upper class man.




If you have bad posture, bad style, or a not so handsome face, the results will be worse.
