You need to be even MORE on your toes to keep the same girl around who you've already banged a bunch of times, even when it is not going to be as interesting as getting some new pussy. Sounds like a horrible deal once you understand this dynamic.
Basically, the more of a history you have with someone, the easier it's going to be to find faults with them, remember things they've done to piss you off, or find a reason to just walk away. Girls might start to get "bored" of the same guy very easily, and guys are going to get pissed after a girl gets out of pocket one too many times. It's like a time bomb.
