When were you last in Dallas Cattle Rustler? I would write a Dallas data sheet as I live in the area, but I'm kind of an uptight detail oriented guy as bars I may suggest tend to change & not be cool anymore in say 3 mos, lol.

If a single guy was say offered a job in Ft. Worth however being the twin city of Dallas, I would recommend NOT taking it. Def more chicks in Dallas. Ft. Worth can be nice & open, but pride themselves in being "funky towners" as they tend to be much more insular if trying to seal the deal. I'd say FW has much better quality of living, but there's too many females that go out for "girls nights" while leaving their bfs at home. Just not enough young professionals in FW either as you'll have people of many more different backgrounds in Dallas area. Definitely more "shields" in Dallas, but once you break it...it's easier to make friends and get some.

Yeah, Texas is a pretty good place overall. The cost of living is just too good to pass up, that's why we have so many 20K millionaires and posers.

I live in the northern Dallas suburbs, like .5 mile from Addison. The bars/restaurant scene changes a lot since we have like the highest concentration in the US. Most fail after 6 months.

What about Denton? Thursday game seems good there with all the college kids around. Probably not a weekend place since many just go back to Dallas. The girl quality is good, although it has many femin/anarch/social-ists.

The SMU area is pretty good too, plenty of wealthy college girls who like to get drunk and have a good time. I've made a few strikes there. Exchange numbers and they will kindly let you know they are lonely or drunk and want you to come over.

Funky Town is a mixed in the back place, as you said...some go out for girls night and it's cheaper. But most of the stuff happens in Dallas and driving back and forth gets old.
