Approach #8. Two girls on a bench in the park -> "stone in the shoe" opener. I ramble elaborately about that something that stings me in the foot, take my time fiddling with the shoe, they give me no input. Then I ramble about her sandals and that I should get a pair of those too. Conversation slowly develops, but after about 7 minutes they have to go, and they didn't ask me a single personal question (not even where I'm from). I was sticking around in the same park for a while and 30 mins later saw the same two girls back on the bench. I didn't re-approach...
