Great input as always Mixx! A few comments:

1) Have only been to Medellin. Honestly what I don't like is that Medellin in too large of a city for me to enjoy without a car. And taking taxis all the time gets expensive. Meanwhile "there's no there there". I remember living in Oaxaca, Mexico and I could walk to the town square and there was always something interesting going on.

2) Yeah, I suppose some of my "misunderstanding" or whatever you want to call it is not knowing the culture or the language. Sometimes I'm no longer sure which way is up!

3) Good to know about the "mi amor" thing. That was definitely worrying me. The other day it sounded like she told me she was going to eventually move to wherever I end up. Though I may have misunderstood.
