Whattt??? Have you taken Xanax? That shit fucks you up big time! I won't even touch them anymore because I either A) Make bad decision and black out, wake up the next morning, hear about the dumb shit I did, don't remember anything and feel like shit/a zombie for the next day or two. Or b) Pass the fuck out 20 minutes after taking it, wake up the next day and feel like shit/a zombie for the following day or two. The stuff fucks me up for like 2 days straight and that's no exaggeration. I've seen people do some real dumb shit one those things. I beat the SHIT out of a pride fighter when he was high on Xanax, when he should have probably handed me my ass (I didn't know he was on them or that he was a pride fighter at the time). I've never heard a person who has taken Xax say that it doesn't get you high. I 100% think that Xanax impairs my judgement more than any other drug including alcohol. Many of my friends would agree. BTW, it's an anti-anxiety, not anti depressant.

Xanax is a central nervous system depressant. I didn't mean to imply that it was an anti-depressant. I had a prescription for xanax back in the day because I said I had trouble sleeping on long flights. Doctors prescribe that shit like candy and it's a terrible drug. I stopped taking it and even weaning off, I had slight withdrawal symptoms, and when I stopped completely, I couldn't sleep well for months. I was lucky I didn't take it for more than a couple of months, because I hear horror stories of people who take that shit for years and are never the same i.e. random panic attacks for a very long time and increased overall anxiety levels.
It's addicting, but it doesn't give you a head-change like any other drug. What I mean is, if you take pain pills, you definitely feel euphoria. If you drink, you feel drunk. If you smoke pot, you immediately feel the effects of that. If you take xanax, you just release your inhibitions. There is no feeling of being high, even in large doses. You just act a fool and black out if you take anything over a couple of milligrams.
Did you drink with it? Like I said, I drank on it a couple of times and 2 or 3 beers would get me as drunk as if I was drinking hard, but with a more stupifying, lethargic effect.
Xanax is sold on the streets because it's cheap as fuck and potentiates the high of almost any other drug. People on methadone often use it because they get methadone from the clinics and don't get high, but when the person pop a few benzos the feeling is very similar to heroine. People who pop pills or do heroine do it to make the high last longer/hit them harder.
