Anyway, what's getting lost in the media coverage is:
1. The IRS ultimately approved the legit Tea Party requests, even if they were subject to extra scrutiny
2. Why are these type of organizations even eligible for tax-exempt status? By law, political organizations should not be exempt. Who here thinks that political organizations shouldn't be paying taxes, but we all should?
3. Why, given point 2, were they ultimately approved for this status?
