Yeah the Salsa scene helped out ALOT. I dont think any girl of any ethnicity ever turned me down ongoing out dancing. If they are a beginner they will drink out of nervousness. Even facebook gaming, got me higher talent by using salsa as leverage. It helped alot man. It almost became a crutch, it worked so well.

For pure salsa dancers, your best bets are (in this order) 1. Habana Village any day of the week, 2. Clarendon Grill on Monday, 3. Lucky Bar on Monday. Every place else has a bit of a mixx of salsa and other kinds of music. I basically stopped dancing salsa when I moved here because the girls here couldn't follow me anywhere near as well as they can in New Jersey, Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. If a place in the D.C. area doesn't play at least 50% merengue and bachata, it's really of no use to me.

ALL TRUE!! that why its such DHV. No matter how attractive she is she feels like a 2 after is the cant follow. LOL
But if you want 25 and up wiith good dancers... TSR. The salsa room, you get pros there pretty often. THere is no basic step up there. Quality is.. ehhhhh mas o menos... the best 25 and up crowd you gonna get. Also check out, Sundays at Lucky Strikess.
