I just realized what that thing is. It's a bent metal rod that we use to clean out fryers. Those things are pretty thick.

This dude makes cooks everywhere proud. Seeing as how he knew where the rod was kept, I'd bet money that he's spent more time behind the griddle and fryer than the cash register.
