NYC...yeah sure throw on the suit. ATL...unless you're at a nice hotel bar or nice restaurant (only places G would be seen, no doubt), a suit (not to mention custom suit) will have most people thinking "did this guy just get off work or is he just weird and showy?", in ANY part of town. That's why I think the jeans/jacket combo works best. Over 35 yo: rules are different.
