My rationale is based on a theory that "game" is basically a set of rules one needs to follow to get laid. People learn those rules, and play by them. They're getting chicks.
Since they play by rules, they do not act the way they naturally would. For example, someone, who really is a jealous control freak, learns to play a laid-back dude who doesn't give shit. He doesn't become a laid-back dude, he just plays one. And this works in short time.
However it changes once the person gets into LTR. One cannot play by rules 24/7 trying to hide his true nature. This means a dude, who is control freak, will pretty soon reveal his "control freak" nature, and since the girl was attracted to a completely different "laid-back" type, his relationship is over. Anyone who has ever been in an LTR can confirm that it is simply impossible to follow checklists all the time, and most secrets are out quite fast. This is why I'm always saying using game will give you a lot of easy lays, but it won't help you in LTR.
Now what if the dude didn't play any games, and just showed his true control freak nature? Indeed, he'd probably get significantly less girls. But there is someone for everyone, and those he'd get would be attracted to his control freak nature, or at least accept it. In this case he doesn't need to play anything, and at least he has a chance to turn it into LTR.
But what if you're not interested in a LTR?
