Truthfully, the reason foreign countries tend to be easier is due to economic advantages leading to lack of competition. A bolivian on 500 dollar a month salary is going to find Colombia hard. An American on a 10k a month salary will not. There is a breaking point though where if its so poor that basically being with a gringo = prostitution then you face increased difficulty. Theres no real fixed number for this amount as cost of living per city varies drastically. For example in Cuba I can buy 90 eggs for 4 dollars and 3kg of cut Steak for 5 dollars. So while people have drastically lower incomes many things reflect that. This is something that will occur in many other countries. So the best way to look at it is whether they are desperately poor and struggling to survive this is a disadvantage. This will lead to lots of prostitution likely, and / or stereotyping girls with gringos as prostitutes. The thing is then theres the additional factor that in some countries sexuality is more open than others. Each place has a different attitude on girls dating gringos as well which further effects this.

1) Economy (specifically % of people who live well monetary figure not as bearing)
2) Countries sexuality views
3) Level of desperation (overly desperate being a negative factor)
4) Perception of gringos
